Privacy policy

SD Bonsai is a small San Diego bonsai business. We collect only what we need to answer your questions and fill your orders, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

Messages. When you use the contact form we keep your name, email, phone number (if you give it) and your message, so we can reply.

Orders and class bookings. At checkout we receive your name, email, phone number and, for shipped orders, your shipping address, along with what you bought. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us.

Your cart. Items in your cart are saved in your own browser so they are still there when you come back. They are not sent to us until you check out.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they look at. It sets cookies and collects things like the pages you view, roughly where you are (city level), and your device and browser. We use these numbers only to improve the site. You can block it with your browser’s cookie settings or Google’s opt-out add-on.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the site: Stripe (payments), Resend (order and reply emails), Cloudflare (security and fast delivery), Google Analytics (visit statistics), and shipping carriers for the orders they deliver. Otherwise we share your information only if the law requires it.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted (we keep order records as long as tax law requires). Just send us a message.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
